Working together in daily life
Diversity in Everyday Support: Trust and Communication

Different life experiences can enrich an everyday-support relationship when it is built on respect and clear communication. A person’s background, language or age does not automatically tell us what help they need. Getting to know each person should come first.
Ask, don’t assume
Which language feels most comfortable? How would the person like to be addressed? Which routines matter? Open questions make space for individual answers instead of reducing someone to their background.
Plan support together
Whether it is shopping, a walk or company at home, the person receiving support should be able to say what matters to them. Pace, tasks and frequency can be agreed together and adjusted when needed.
Trust grows through everyday contact
An introductory conversation helps clarify expectations and boundaries. Listening, reliability and mutual respect matter more than any particular background. If something does not feel right, it should be possible to say so openly.
Clarify the scope of service
AlltagsNah offers practical help and companionship in everyday life, not medical treatment or nursing care. The support that may be suitable is discussed individually.
